Story
In a remote village, Lina and her sister, Tina, lived in an old house surrounded by dense woods. The village was known for strange tales, including a mysterious voice often heard from the darkness of the forest. Joko, Lina’s friend, frequently visited and tried to calm their fears.
One night, while gathered in the living room, Tina began to share a story. “Long ago, many people went missing in that forest. They say strange voices can be heard before someone disappears,” she said seriously.
“Don’t believe it! Those are just stories to scare children,” Joko replied, though his tone was slightly hesitant.
However, Lina felt intrigued. “Is it true that there’s a voice from the darkness? I want to hear it!” she exclaimed excitedly.
Tina shook her head. “No, Lina. That’s dangerous. We don’t know what’s in the forest.”
But Lina’s curiosity overpowered her fear. That night, after Tina fell asleep, Lina quietly slipped out of the house and headed toward the forest, with Joko reluctantly following to keep her safe.
Inside the woods, the atmosphere felt eerie. The sounds of nocturnal animals and rustling leaves created an unsettling vibe. Suddenly, they heard a faint, chilling voice calling out Lina’s name.
“Linaaa…” the voice echoed among the trees.
Lina paused, mesmerized. “What is that?” she asked, her voice trembling.
“This isn’t good; we should go!” Joko urged, beginning to feel frightened.
But Lina didn’t want to leave. “I have to know!” she stepped deeper into the woods, following the voice.
As they ventured further, the voice became clearer. “Linaaa… come to me…,” it beckoned from the depths of the darkness.
Joko tightened his grip on Lina’s hand. “We need to go back, Lina! It’s not safe!” he insisted.
Finally, Lina nodded, but as they turned to leave, the voice transformed into a deafening scream that shook the forest. “Linaaa!!!”
They both ran in fear. As they neared the edge of the woods, Joko tripped, and Lina helped him up. “Hurry, Joko! We’re almost there!” she shouted.
At that moment, the voice returned, now sounding closer. “Linaaa…,” it hissed, sending shivers down their spines.
They managed to escape the forest, panting heavily. But when they looked back, they saw a shadowy figure lurking among the trees.
“Lina, we have to get back home!” Joko urged, panic in his voice.
As they ran, Lina felt as though something was following them, a presence lurking in the darkness. When they finally reached the house, Tina was waiting anxiously.
“Where have you been? I was worried!” she asked.
Lina and Joko exchanged glances, both aware they had experienced something unexplainable. The voice from the darkness would haunt them forever.
From that night on, despite returning to their daily routines, the voice lingered in Lina’s mind. She knew there was something mysterious in the forest, something that could not be ignored.
